If you are a Veteran in crisis or concerned about one, connect with our caring, qualified responders for confidential help. Many of them are Veterans themselves. Underserved children in grades K-1 in need of extra individualized reading instruction are selected by district personnel. Our trained volunteers work with the children on pre-reading skills in small groups using lessons developed by literacy coaches.

Turn in all three certificates to your local AHFC office. An AHFC representative will contact the family within thirty 30 days with the result. If the family member fails the test, one of the other options may be completed to meet the requirement.

Option 4: Complete One-on-One Financial Counseling through YWCA This option is for families that need one-on-one financial counseling when a barrier to the above three options is present such as English as a Second Language or no internet connectivity.
