Raven shield dedicated server setup

Post by moby » I was looking for a "How To" on how to setup a Deathball server for someone who has never hosted a UT server of any kind. I would also like tips and general advice, including steps you have to take for UTvote etc.

Now, i want to run a dedicated server on PC2 in the lan but when i lauch it, the server starts up, shows up in the list raven shield multiplayer but i cant join it - server did not respond.

I tried adjusting the ports given in Ravenshield. But it dont work. I cant join it nor can anyone else or so it seems.

All other games work normal, no problems. Its raven shield, bad programming or whatever, i have no idea. I was hoping one of you guys had 1 running and could tell me what i did wrong or so.. I told you in the RvS forums, but now that you have given me more info, I can understand this a little better.

Second, How many systems are we dealing with total? A ded server cannot be a client. Ok, ill buy one this week or next week.
