What is the phone to call? How would I do so? All I know is that I am getting these error messages when I try to do a scan. I am unable to scan any files. Whenever I tried, i get a message "could not start scan. RE: could not start scan.

After this, the Virus Scan started immediately and found some viruses too Suspiciuos. Hope this helps you! Posted May 04, AM. If some virus is present then that might be prventing you to scan. Your definition update might be corrupted that's why you encounter this concern.

When I did, it still gave me the same scan engine error problem. That's when I thought it might be caused by a Microsoft update.
